Move to improve

Move To Improve:

Today we were asked to plan a workout trail if you don't know a Workout trail is I've got some videos that we were shown to get the idea of what a workout trail is. Workout trail video 1 Workout trail 2. Then we were asked to draw/make our own one before we drawed one we were asked to be in a group and this is what we made up.

Omaka Scout Camp:

This week for EOCT week we are going to Omaka scout camp. Last week we were told to make a little add showing people why you should go visit. I have tried to make a powtoon about it but this was my first time. I wasn't sure how to put it on my blog so I'm just gonna copy and paste the link. If there is any problems please tell me so I can do better on my work. Omaka Scout Camp is really fill of activities that may overcome your fears. It is run by all adults that want kid to have a fun time but also overcome their fears at the same time.

Move to Improve:

My Goal Is to be a Football player its my dream goal to be one and to be fit enough not to stop all the time while running in cross country. They both fit in to each other because its mainly being fit and having stamina to run a lot. I love the football team Chelsea and I hope i'm as good as my favorite player Eden Hazard. I want to train a lot by doing some sprints and doing long distance while sprinting because that is rally good in football. I would also like to be as good and rough like boys because I watch a lot of girls now that are not that good because there scared.

Food Diary:

Breakfast: Nothing

Morning tea: Oats bar , Green Grapes

Lunch: Nothing

Dinner: Chicken and vegetables.

Midnight Snake: Popcorn No buttered

For a normal 13 year old girl your meant to be having 1,600 to 2,200 calories.

A girl who is 13 years old is meant to take up 0.5  gram of protein pound of body weight.

A girl who is 13 years old is meant to take up 720 fat during there diet of 2.200 of calories.

A girl who is 13 years old is meant to take up 45 to 65%  of their calories ends up being carbs

Summer Learning:

Hi our names are Izzy & Kayla and we are going to be doing the summer learning journey. We are here to tell you a bit about us and then tell you what we would like if we won. We are both year 8 students at hornby high school and we love blogging. we also love the thought of learning because it is really fun. we also love sport that's why if we were to win we would buy a new Nike football.. :) . We would love to have a new football because we would be able to have fun during brake and out of school time.

We were asked to sit down and watch a short film for 15 minutes and wright down what we learnt.

I have learnt that white bread is fill of so many bad things which can cause heart disease and diabetes which can make you very ill and maybe die.

I would like to know how sugar is so bad and what makes it that bad for you.

After we watch that we were asked to see how much teaspoons of sugar is in these foods.














We were then asked to choose a idem and see why they use them colors and the logo. We chose Vitamin Water logo is just basic water drop which is red and white. The colors they use are orange red and white I think they chose them colors because no one really uses orange and because they water is also orange. What words are on they label? Well all it says is Vitamin Water it is meant to be healthy but its really not.

Acrostic poem:

For writing we were asked to make a acrostic poem of these topics Name , Colour , Season and weather I chose to do summer the season. We were then asked to make sure it had adverbs and adjectives.

Slowly walking on the hot and steaming ground.
Using cold blue ice blocks to keep cool.
Memoriseing fun in the cold water only smelling sunscreen.
Magnificent scene of all the flower blooming.
Endless fun splashing water around.
Red lava, sun beaming down on the world.
