Biology: Courtship Behaviour

 Courtship Behaviour:

Courtship behaviour is either physical attributes or actions that an animal may do to attract and stand out as more dominant or strong. This tends to be seen in males more than females as the females get to watch and opinion their decisions on who they reproduce with and what their offspring genes are.  The reason its not common in females is because their point in life is survival and to be able to maintain it in a safe environment to care for and raise their offspring. Some animals may have bigger body parts than females, brighter colours or even just perform a dance ritual to impress the females and show they have good genes to mate which as that's the whole point to reproduce and pass genes on. An example of this in a species is peacocks the male has a huge feather tail where the female does not. The male shows dominance and their fitness ability they move their tail in a direction kinda like a little dance to show off in front of the females. Females attract to this and choose to mate with males whose tails are well kept, well coloured and dance is performed well. It says you have good genes if all done well as it takes energy and muscular power to preform the dance and overall good health to have the tail in good condition.  This benefits the female as she gets to reproduce with a male that has good genes meaning better chance of survival of the offspring due to the genes they may have. This benefits the males as they were chosen and their genes pass down even more in their offspring.

Senior reflection blog: photography level 3

Senior reflection blog: photography level 3

1) This year for my portfolio I am working on photography and am taking pictures of nature/flowers. I am using the artist Fiona Pardington as an inspiration as I like how she includes dark backgrounds with bright focal points.

2) I went onto  photo shop and was able to create dark backgrounds to the photos I have taken and enhance the brightness and saturation to the focal points/flowers.

3)  I enjoyed diving deeper into photo shop and editing more of my photos.

4) I struggled with the picture taking aspect as most of the flowers I have used have died or are dying and the weather has not been the best.

5) I would enable myself to go or get more flowers in the photo sessions I had done so I could get a better variety and more photos produced.

The Right Approach Health blog post

 The Right Approach:

1) I am going to be looking into the ethical approach of rights.

2) An ethical approach is in fact a rule or foundation that helps guide a person or groups perspective and thoughts within an ethical issue. The ethical principle/idea includes everyone's thoughts, beliefs, ideas, attitude and feelings within a problem. There are in fact 5 different ethical approaches used by them being the following Utilitarian, Rights, Fairness or Justice, Common Good and Virtue.

3) I am looking into the approach of Rights. The ethical Approach Rights enables everyone who is within to have a choice into what they're getting themselves into. It allows everyone to have a voice freely and to independently have an opinion within the situation. This allows everyone to have consent and willingly join or be opposed to the idea at hand.

4)

Dr. Cure

5) This is Dr, Cure as you can see here he is talking to a group of people undergoing trails with new medication Cure has made to help with their different illnesses. You can see in the circle speech bubbles that he is allowed everyone to state their opinion freely about if they are consenting to the trails. You can see on the cube there are the medicines he has made. You can also see that many of the people within the circle feel all different opinions some are happy, sad, overwhelmed, and talking/expressing how they feel. The Dr is allowed everyone's voice to be heard freely and allowed everyone to be comfortable to do so which this shows the right approach to a tea.
