The Black box had to be remade through time with some of the original box made into it. From past stories and also it use to have wooden slips now they have to use paper as there are more people in the town since when this was first started. 6. In what way is the title, “The Lottery”, misleading?  Why would the author  want to trick the reader by having a misleading title?

As our generation knows a lottery we think of a good prize being won.
An author could use this to trick us as most people love a lottery and winning a prize, but we all in this generation would not like to hear about horrible death in an outrageous and sick way.

Why do you think this is an Dystopian story? Does it remind you of any others?

This is a Dystopian story as people are scared and living in a hateful way and doing harm to others

It does not remind me of any others apart from slavery stories.
